In late August 2020, we bought a P-SB7 Spirit Box to conduct spirit communication and divinatory experiments here at Listening Post Alpha. Many consider the method to be absurd, but we had seen the method used successfully in the Hellier series. We also have an atavistic interest in working with radio static as Bob and Leah both spent time as children flipping back and forth between radio stations making “noisy remixes”. We also saw this as a mutation of the cut-up method. We hypothesized that messages from the Others would seep through the rapidly cut airwave transmissions. When I got the machine, I unwrapped it and turned it to 151 AM because 151 = BABALON CHORONZON. I took the machine around to every Hot-Point in the temple and noticed how the home of each spirit had a different frequency on the same station. Whether that had to do with something in the structure of the building, the magickal instruments and offering in each spirit home, or whether we were actually picking up the different wavelengths of the spirits themselves is not clear. However, the temple spirits were communicating instantly with the High Priestess. Bob turned on the sweep forward function at 500ms and handed it to her:

Opossum is a spirit of the Temple who has knowledge of, and connection to the nocturnal and subterranean realms. Opossum is a wise trickster -- representing the Crazy Wisdom of the temple. He died the moment he met Leah and her dog, who snapped Opossum’s spine with one playful bite. Thus, “I lost my heart the day we met…” Like Osiris, his body was recovered, his bones patiently and carefully extracted, sanctified, and reconstructed. By her Art, he became a worshipful oracular entity in the temple -- providing master keys to the subterranean realms--”towns within towns”. This is also a poetic reflection of the beginning of our working, sexual, and magickal relationship and it’s transformative process. I truly lost my heart the day I met my High Priestess. She seemed so naturally mine and I hers that I could not understand how we had never crossed paths. “Towns within towns”....My treasure hidden in a cave. “I have something to give to you” was the hook. The copy of Crowley’s Book of Lies, that never left my shelf….
The experiments below were done in the temple, mostly during daylight hours when the AM babble is turned up to 11. We are wearing headphones and extending the antenna to pick up maximum signal. We are not trying to pick up some hidden ghastly voice lurking somehow outside of the babble, rather we are fully embracing the hacked babble as an oracle in itself. We are not sure that what we are hearing is what has actually been said by the talking heads whizzing through our skulls. A long enough session creates hallucinatory effects when working with headphones, after a time you can feel the station shifts penetrating the pineal gland, along with a sort of entrainment, intensifying the depth of access but also the depth of delirium. If you can work through the delirium of the experience there are boons to be had.
We used our temple dice system -- answerable to several oracle sets and forms of gematria. Before each session we made it explicit which form we were working with so that the numbers that emerged either through dice or the airwaves held a limited set of interpretations.
We present these messages with little or no interpretation, unless told to do otherwise. Some will be sealed, we suppose forever, or until we are given permission to release them. We encourage you to interpret for yourselves and we are interested in hearing about the reader’s own subjective experience with the messages.

Much of the day was spent feeding CoronaVirus paranoias and despairing over an approaching hurricane approaching family members in Florida. The oracle here clearly instructs us to “stay home, make it”.
